The Winter Track & Field Challenge will replace the Winter Track Series in 2026, introducing a new one-afternoon event where athletes will compete in four events — two track and two field — accumulating points as they battle for a place in the top three of each age group. The format is designed to cater for all athletes, including those who are less focused on individual competition, with every performance contributing valuable points toward their club’s overall score.
The existing “Club vs Club” point score will remain, with clubs continuing to compete for the Club Winners Trophy.
