Introduction to Teaching Little Athletics Skills Course

ALL PRACTICAL, NO EXAM, NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

The Introduction to Teaching Little Athletics Skills Course is designed to help participants become better placed to assist children to perform basic athletic skills.

The course is great for those who want to know more about the skills of Athletics, so that they may help to coach children, assist at Little Athletics Centres or prepare students for school athletics carnivals.

Participants will be shown how to introduce and teach the fundamentals of each Little Athletics event to beginners.

DURATION: 1 day course – approximately 6 hours

COST: $75.00 per participant (includes coaching resources & certificate)

  • Participants must be 16 years of age at the time of the course to participate.

NOTEThe Introduction to Teaching Little Athletics Skills Course is nationally recognised by Little Athletics Australia, however it is not an accredited course. Certificates of attendance will be presented at the completion of the course. Upon request, school teachers can also be provided with a “Teachers Professional Development” document to use the Introduction to Teaching Little Athletics Skills Course towards their required professional learning.
