OPEN to ALL 5-17 year-olds, this clinic provides a great opportunity for you to learn, have fun, and improve your athletics skills, as well as the unique opportunity to receive coaching and guidance from some of South Australia’s BEST Coaches.

Our aim is for you to DREAM… BELIEVE… and ACHIEVE Personal Best results!

LOCATION: SA Athletics Stadium, 145 Railway Terrace, Mile End SA 5031

9:00AM – 1:00PM (each day)


ONE DAY – $70
TWO DAYS – $110

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: 12:00PM Friday 6th January 2023

EVENTS COACHING – Tuesday 17th January 2023:

On the first day of the Holiday Clinic, participants will partake in a series of coaching sessions as detailed below. Athletes will also have the exciting opportunity to meet Australian Heptathlete, Oceania Champion and Commonwealth Games Representative Taneille Crase who is coming in for a presentation!

There is also a Mini Olympics offered to allow the participants to put their learnings into practice!

U6-U8 – Set run, jump, and throw program, which involves Sprints, Relays, Hurdles, Long Jump, Modified High Jump, Shot Put & Discus.

U9-U18 – Receive 3 coaching sessions in 3 athletics events of your choice. The events available are:

  • Sprints (Straights)
  • Sprints (Bends)
  • Hurdles
  • Distance Running
  • Walks
  • High Jump – Scissor Kick (U9-U10)
  • High Jump – Fosbury Flop (U11-U18)
  • Long Jump
  • Triple Jump (U11-U18)
  • Shot Put
  • Discus
  • Javelin (U11-U18)
  • Pole Vault (U12-U18)

MINI OLYMPICS – Wednesday 18th January 2023:

On the second day of the Holiday Clinic, participants will have the opportunity to participate in actual athletics events, where their results for the day will be recorded.

U6-U8 – 100m, Long Jump, 200m, Discus & some skills based activities.

U9-U18 – 2 event sessions where athletes can select 3 events per session of the following available events:

Session 1:

  • 100m
  • 400m
  • Shot Put
  • Javelin (U11-U18)
  • Long Jump
  • High Jump (U11-U18)

Session 2:

  • 200m
  • 800m
  • Discus
  • Triple Jump (U11-U18)
  • Long Jump
  • High Jump (U9-U10)
