Little Athletics SA, in conjunction with our key partner Coles, is proud to bring you the 2024-25 Athlete of the Month/Year awards, as well as our Volunteer of the Month/Year awards.

Each month from November to March, Little Athletics SA Clubs and parents can nominate those athletes and volunteers at their Clubs who they believe are worthy of winning an award.

In our Athlete of the Month/Year categories, athletes can be nominated in two distinct branches: Achievement or Commitment.

Achievement rewards those individuals who have shown excellence in performance.

By contrast, Commitment highlights those who demonstrate the key values of Little Athletics such as leadership, selflessness, and sportsmanship.

For the first time in the program, there is now a Volunteer of the Month/Year award to recognise the amazing contributions from our volunteers. Much like the Commitment award, these criteria aim to emphasise the core values of Little Athletics.

Nominations will be submitted to Little Athletics SA for a final decision, and monthly winners will be contacted and announced via Little Athletics SA social media channels.

Upon conclusion of the season, all award winners will be invited to the South Australian Little Athletics Association Awards Evening where two athletes will be selected as Athlete of the Year and one volunteer will receive the Volunteer of the Year Award!
