Since November 2018, Coles has provided more than $2.28 million in grants directly to 456 Little Athletics Centres nationally via the Cole Little Athletics Community Fund (CLACF).

This support of Little Athletics is in addition to Coles Naming Rights Sponsorship of Little Athletics and other key actives such as the 3.9 million Bananas donated to Little Athletics Centres since 2017 and the Coles Community Round held annually.

The CLACF is a grant program designed to help Little Athletics Centre’s improve the grassroots Little Athletics experience for volunteers, participants and families.

Funds for Round 8 have been raised through the 2023 Coles Little Athletics Banana A-Peel (3-9 May 2023) with Coles donating 10 cents of every kilogram of Cavendish bananas sold at its supermarkets to the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund.

Eligible Little Athletics Centres can apply for funding to purchase sports, safety and volunteering equipment that will help improve the Little Athletics experience for volunteers, participants and families, such as Hurdles, High Jump Mats, First Aid Kits, Modified Equipment, Trolleys and Shade Marquees.

The Coles Little Athletics Community Fund will be open on Tuesday 1 August and close on Thursday 31 August 2023 at 11:59pm AEST.

The fund will be accepting grant applications from Little Athletics Centre Committee Members between $1000 to $5000 per Little Athletics Centre to go towards new equipment for 2023-24 season.
