South Australia’s youngest athletes are set to begin their season with access to high quality hand sanitiser provided by the Bickford’s Group who have donated bottles of hand sanitiser to Little Athletics SA, as part of their ongoing commitment to grass-roots sport.
The well-known beverage manufacturer initially began manufacturing hand sanitiser in March, through the need to keep their own workers safe, but have continued production in hope of addressing the recent nationwide spike in demand for the product. The sanitiser is being made and bottled in Adelaide.
“As a community group, Bickford’s were thrilled to be able to provide hand sanitiser to the South Australian Little Athletics Community.” Bickford’s Australia’s Senior Brand Manager, Beverley Reeves, said.
Little Athletics SA CEO, Sue Bowman welcomed the generous support from Bickford’s saying “The Bickford’s hand sanitiser will allow thousands of Little Athletes to safely participate in the sport of Athletics. The sanitiser will be used at the club levels and association’s State Competitions, where athletes travel to compete at Adelaide’s iconic premier athletics facility, SA Athletics Stadium where athletes will have access to the alcohol-based solution.”
