Get your walking shoes ready! Nominations for the Race Walking State Championships being held at Adelaide Parklands at the Adelaide Hockey Club rooms, corner of Greenhill Rd and Peacock Rd, Unley have now closed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- To be eligible to nominate for the Race Walking Championships (19/6/21), athletes need to have participated in 1 Race Walking Meet.
- Registrations for the Race Walking Championships OPEN Monday 7, June 2021 and CLOSE Monday 5, July 2021.
- A copy of the rules is available from the SALAA website at http://bit.ly/2020-2021StandardCompetitionRules
- Athletes must compete in their own age group.
- Athletes will be required to register online for the Championship event. There will be an $11.20 registration fee.
- FOOTWEAR is compulsory – spikes are not permitted.
- Competitors must report to the starting line 10 minutes prior to the advertised starting time for their event.
- No pacing of competing athletes permitted.
- On arrival at the Race Walking meets, please check the Notice Board for information regarding the course and other information.
