Entry Fee: $11.20 per event for the first 3 events, then $5.00 for an additional fourth or fifth event. Capped at $38.60.

The State Challenge is an exciting opportunity for athletes who have not quite qualified for the SIC’s to compete in a Championships styled Competition at the State’s premier athletics facility.
Finish of the season by cracking those PB’s in what is one of the most “feel good” Competitions on the Little Athletics SA calendar. Athletes in the Under 8 to Under 13 age groups can compete in most of the standard individual events available to their group, with athletes able to select a maximum of 5.
Whilst medals are still awarded to the top three athletes in each age groups events, there are a few differences for this Competition. Track finals will not be being conducted, instead medals will be based on heat times and field events will also only be the best of three attempts with no final 8.

NOTE: Athletes who have qualified for the State Individual Championships in three or more events (other than race walks) are ineligible to enter the State Challenge. In addition, athletes cannot enter an event in the State Challenge that they have qualified for in the State Individual Championships, regardless of whether they nominate for that event in the State Individual Championships.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Athletes must be registered with an affiliated Little Athletics SA centre by no later than Tuesday 31st December 2019 and have competed in 20 events at their registered centres meets to be eligible to participate in this State Competition.
