Please note all registered members for the 2022-23 season do NOT need to register for the Winter Season, this is already included in your season membership.

The Race Walking Season gives athletes an opportunity to do something different and participate in competitions away from the athletics track! It is a great way for athletes to practice and work on their technique in a relaxed and friendly environment! The course utilises a paved pathway through the parklands, and is not conducted on a public road.

• To be eligible to nominate for the Race Walking Championships, athletes need to have participated in one Race Walking Meet.
• Registrations for the Race Walking Championships OPEN on Wednesday 7 June 2023 and CLOSE on Wednesday 5 July 2023.

• Athletes must compete in their own age group.
• Athletes will be required to register online for the Championship event. There will be an $12.00 registration fee.
• FOOTWEAR is compulsory – spikes are not permitted.
• Competitors must report to the starting line 10 minutes prior to the advertised starting time for their event.
• No pacing of competing athletes permitted.
• On arrival at the Race Walking meets, please check the Notice Board for information regarding the course and other information.
