Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th February 2019

Entries Open: 9:00AM Wednesday 19th December 2018. Entries Close: 5:00PM Wednesday 23rd January 2019. Age Groups: U9-U18. Entry Fee: $22.00 per athlete.
CLICK HERE for the Draft ProgramThe Multi Event Championships is a two-day competition, for registered athletes in the Under 9 to Under 18 age groups. Athletes participate in a specified number of track and field events, earning points for their performance in each event. Each age group competes in a mixture of running, jumping, and throwing events, where athletes have the opportunity to showcase their all-round ability. Medals are presented to the three highest total point scorers in each age group. This competition is also where the provisional Under 15 Multi-Event State Team selections are made for the 2019 Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC). The Under 9 to Under 13 age groups will participate in a pentathlon (5 events), Under 14’s participate in a hexathlon (6 events), and Under 15 to Under U18’s participate in a heptathlon (7 events). The pentathlon events are conducted over one day (Sunday only), with the hexathlon and heptathlon events conducted over two days (Saturday and Sunday). Athletes in the U9 to U13 age groups need to meet qualifying standard in at least 3 of the 5 events to be offered in the pentathlon for their age group. CLICK HERE to enter this State Competition. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS & ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Qualification Standards (refer to Rule 706 of the 2018/19 LASA Standard Competition Rules): – CLICK HERE to view the qualification standards for the Toyota State Multi-Event Championships. – An athlete must have met the qualification standards by no later than Sunday 20th January 2019.
Eligibility Requirements (refer to Rule 703 of the 2018/19 LASA Standard Competition Rules): – An athlete must be registered with a Little Athletics SA affiliated centre by no later than Monday 31st December 2018. – An athlete must have participated in 15 events at their centre competition by Sunday 20th January 2019.
